Arsenal's title bid is over
When the Betfair Front Room fans met up last week, Arsenal had only just drawn with Aston Villa, in their first of their fearsome foursome encounters, with Man Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool to follow. All agreed this run of games would decide their season, and after a loss to United yesterday it's not looking good. It means the gentle chiding from Toby is now the least of Robbie's worries...
Do you agree that Arsenal's title race is over? They are now [13.5] to win it, with Chelsea favourites at [1.7] and Man Utd still in with a shout at [3.2]...

I dont necessarily agree that Arsenal's title challenge is over....
I do think it is if Chelsea win tonight at Hull and then Arsenal lose to Chelsea on Sunday.
If Chelsea draw or lose tonight(And i think Hull will score) it is 6 points or 5 points difference going into Sunday.
If Arsenal could win at Chelsea they are right back in it , even a draw and i wouldnt rule them out.
My opinion is that Man Utd arent as good as people are thinking and will drop unexpected points between now and the end of the season.
I still believe we played better at Old Trafford and lost(to a dodgy penalty and own goal) than they did at The Emirates.
If you look at the stats from sunday(shots at goal , corners , possession).....were Utd really that good or did Arsenal make them look that good????
If the Gallas header had have gone in then they would have been clinging on to win a match that they should have won comfortably from 0-3 in front. Then again if the Rooney shot had have gone in near the end it would have looked a rout(but do the stats back this up????)
This Arsenal team are capable of winning at Chelsea if they believe they can(im not sure they believe it though) and if they do they are capable of going on a run and clawing the points difference back.
Only time will tell but i wouldnt write them off just yet.
Sunday is a massive match and probably will be make or break for Arsenal's title challenge.
13.5 may be worth a small investment and hopefully by 6pm on Sunday may look BIG!
Then again by 6pm on Sunday i may look stupid :)

You're right Terry, [13.5] for Arsenal to be PL Champs certainly did seem a big price. Particularly as if they win at Chelsea on Sunday they will, as you say, be right back in the race. They're now down to [10.5], however, so if you fancy them to beat the Blues don't hang around!
