Fulham set for another glorious European night

With every passing week in which they are forced to play twice, it appears increasingly likely that Fulham are going to start showing signs of burnout, but they keep soldiering on and getting results.

The Cottagers are unbeaten in nine matches and having knocked out the holders Shakhtar Donetsk in the last round, they shouldn't fear a Juventus side that don't look good enough to reach the club's 13th European final. The Bianconeri are having as disastrous a season as Liverpool.

Experienced coach Alberto Zaccheroni deserves credit for steadying the ship since arriving in January to take charge until the end of the season and sweep up the mess of Ciro Ferrara's disastrous half-season at the reigns.

The former AC Milan boss has lost just one of his eight matches with the Old Lady, which doesn't sound too impressive until you consider that they had lost nine in 12 before his appointment, and guided them past Ajax in the last round.

But while Zaccheroni has made the Turin giants harder to beat, they're still not very impressive. He's won just half of his games in charge, all by one-goal margins, and only one of their four at the Stadio Olimpico di Torino.

Fulham are notorious for struggling on the road but that travel sickness doesn't seem to affect them overseas. Roy Hodgson's men have lost just two of their six European away games, one 1-0 against Amkar Perm when 3-1 up on aggregate and the other very controversially having led away to Roma.

The two standout options in this match, therefore, are to either lay Juventus at [1.64] or to back the draw at [4.1], with 1-1 the scoreline that we consider most likely at [8.4].

Vincenzo Iaquinta's return after four-and-a-half months out is a big boost for the occasionally goal-shy hosts, and he is arguably their main goal threat at [5.9] to score first. For the visitors, it's Damien Duff we fancy at [9.4] to strike at any time. The Irishman has found the net eight times this season and has experience of scoring against big European teams, as Barcelona, Porto and Lazio will testify.
