Make money from dead rubber in the Europa League

Group D
The group stage's surprise success story should end with Hertha Berlin, bottom of the Bundesliga with one win all season, reaching the last 32. They need just a point at home to Sporting Lisbon, who have nothing to play for. Even if Hertha lose, they will only go out if Heerenveen, who have lost their previous two home group games 3-2 [95.0], beat Ventspils, who have drawn their two away games 1-1 [11.0].

Group E
Fulham must beat FC Basel away to secure a spot in the knockout stages but the Swiss club have won their last nine home matches. They are 2.24 to make it ten on the spin, while the Cottagers are 3.55 to rip up the formbook and qualify. If Basel were to triumph, they would also win the group should Roma drop any points away to CSKA Sofia. They are 3.0 to leapfrog Claudio Ranieri's side.

Group F
Sturm Graz are 3.5 to win the deadest of dead rubbers against Galatasaray, who are certain of top spot with the Austrians guaranteed to wind up bottom. The other clash sees Panathinaikos welcome third-placed Dinamo Bucharest, who need to win by any score other than 1-0 to plug the three-point gap. Odds of 17.5 are available on them winning 1-0 amid exclamations of "what were the chances!"

Group J
Just like Group F, there is both a nothing and an everything match here. Pointless Partizan host lossless Shakhtar Donetsk and as neither team really cares, the holders are 2.0 with Partizan just 4.2. The other tie sees Toulouse needing a win away to Club Brugge in order to overtake the Belgians. Our money is on the draw at 3.4.

Group K
You know the story by now: a top v bottom match, and an all-or-nothing third v second one. CFR Cluj are 2.66 to end a poor campaign on a high against group winners PSV while Sparta Prague are at home to Copenhagen, who they are level on points with but lost away to, meaning they must win. The Czech side last lost at home in October 2008 and should do the business at 2.32.

Group L
It's unlikely that either Athletic Bilbao or Werder Bremen fear Juventus right now but to spice this up, we will say that they are fighting for the right to avoid them in the next round. The Germans hold a three-point lead but a 2-0, 3-1 or three-goal loss in the Basque Country will see them overtaken. Bilbao are 4.1 to achieve one of those outcomes and win the group. Elsewhere, joint-bottom Nacional play joint-bottom Austria Wien to determine if they are separable.
