Back striker-heavy Celtic to get goals

Rangers' tough trip to Motherwell is the game of choice for the TV cameras tonight, but it's not the only tie in the SPL - here are the rest...

Celtic v Hearts
Tony Mowbray has gone striker-crazy in a bid to catch Rangers' hefty lead at the top of the SPL. As well as the high-profile arrival of Robbie Keane, he also brought in Diomansy Kamara and Morten Rasmussen in January to join Georgios Samaras and Marc-Antoine Fortune in the squad. And despite an iffy start (losing 1-0 to Killie), the signs of a goal-heavy future were there when Keane, Kamara and Rasmussen all got on the scoresheet in a 4-2 win at Dunfermline. It means the over 3.5 goals tonight at [2.86] is the best bet - Hearts haven't kept a clean sheet in four games.

Dundee Utd v Hamilton
United are back on form after their brief wobble following manager Craig Levein's departure - they're unbeaten in seven. So at [1.6] they shouldn't struggle against the bottom side, and with Hamilton having not won in nine go for Dundee United/Dundee United in the half time/full time market at [2.58].

Falkirk v Kilmarnock
Killie's shock defeat of Celtic was followed by a convincing 3-0 win over Inverness, so they'll be buzzing with confidence heading into this relegation clash. But Falkirk also managed a surprise - beating Aberdeen at Pittodrie 1-0 thanks to a Colin Healy winner. They've only won once at home and Killie just once away - we're going for the draw at [3.45].

Hibernian v Aberdeen
High-flying Hibs are second only to Rangers in the form table, having won four games in a row - including three points from Celtic Park. Aberdeen aren't looking as great, they haven't won in three games in, including tame losses to Montrose and Falkirk. It means Hibs are a great price at [1.9].

St Mirren v St Johnstone
Eighth plays ninth and we're backing the higher-placed side - St Johnstone - to prevail at [3.1]. Why? If there's anything other than next Wednesday's Cup replay with Rangers on the mind of the home players, we'll be very surprised.

Fancy our picks? You can combine the lot for a five-fold on Celtic, Dundee United, Falkirk v Killie draw, Hibs and St Johnstone for odds of 37.39, a fiver winning a nifty £181.95...
