Are you sure you want to say that? #20
Would Rangers and Celtic finish in the top four of the Premier League? Will they ever get a chance? More importantly, will people ever stop asking? Now Premier League honcho Richard Scudamore has had his say, and it's grim reading for any Old Firm fan hoping for their side to swap games against Falkirk and St. Mirren with Liverpool and Manchester United:
He said: "I don't think it's a serious proposition for a whole number of reasons. Scottish football is Scottish football. For a traditionalist like me, that's where the Old Firm should play.
"I see the benefits for Celtic and Rangers if they moved to our Premier League but I don't think our 20 clubs are going to vote to allow these clubs into our league."
A traditionalist eh? Who'd have thought Richard "39th game" Scudamore would describe himself as one of those? We're not sure which football history books he's been reading, but we must've missed the chapters about Bolton playing Fulham in Japan or Blackburn taking on Sunderland in Dubai...
